When: Monday evenings at 6pm

  • What: USChess.org rated tournaments.
    • Open to all ages and all skill levels.
    • Weeks 1: Game in 30,
    • Week 2: Game in 15 ; d5
    • Week 3: Game in 10 ; d5
    • Week 4: Game in 5 ; d2
    • Week 5: Game in 3 ; d2
    • All events are USCF rated.
    • Scholastic US  Chess memberships are available through Diamondback Chess for $13
    • Please Bring your own Chess Set. Sets may be available for purchase
  • All weeks have a $5 entry fee.
    • Weeks 1 and 2 will be quads, with 4 player sections* and 3 rounds. Sections will be organized by rating. There will be a $10 prize for 1st and a $5 prize for second.
    • Week 3 will be 6 player sections* and 5 rounds. Sections will be organized by rating. There will be a $15 prize for 1st and a $10 prize for second.
    • Week 4 will be 6 player sections* and 10 rounds, so every player plays each other person in their section twice. Sections will be organized by rating. There will be a $15 prize for 1 st and a $10 prize for second.
    • Week 5 will only happen if there are 5 Mondays in a month. Week 5 will be 8 player sections* and 14 rounds, so every player plays each other person in their section twice. Sections will be organized by rating. There will be a $15 prize for 1 st and a $10 prize for second.
    • *Some section sizes may change based on attendance
  • Rated Games: Require membership to the US Chess Federation. Annual memberships can be purchased here at uschess.org’s website.
